Excellent 2-pack and ONLY functional edition of THE DEPARTED
I bought this 2018 Warner Brothers 2-pack in the hope that I finally found a non-defective DVD copy of Martin Scorsese's otherwise excellent 2006 film, THE DEPARTED. My hopes were fulfilled -- mostly. There is still -- at the exact same point in the movie as ALL of the other copies/editions I have ever bought or owned -- a very minor glitch (the movie pauses for a brief second, then resumes). Hopefully, it doesn't expand over time into something that renders the entire DVD dysfunctional -- as has been the case, again, with ALL of the others. The icing on the cake was the inclusion of 1990's GOODFELLAS -- which I'm ashamed to say I had never seen in its entirety until receiving this. In all (and especially if the very minor glitch in THE DEPARTED never worsens), I'm extremely relieved and satisfied with this tremendous 2-pack edition of both films. Warner Brothers should've made more of these.
