A really good must have addition to LOTUS or Ford car collections.
Build quality very good Scale size of 1/76th is ideal for OO gauge model railway fans As a code modifier of most scale of model cars the limiting factors of this model is the ready availability of conversion wheels , alternate livery schemes. The after market availability opens up a vast list of options of conversion. But this model fills a major whole for the Ford car collectors market. Even the out of the box options are merely cosmetic Fully detailing the chrome trims round the body glasses and lowering the rear axle alignment give it a more realistic NOSE UP BACK END DOWN especially, on the A FRAMED rear axle vehicles. One little detail that may need improving is the grill mounted LOTUS badge It should be on the OSF corner of the radiator grill, but that is probably my only fault on an otherwise great model of the Cortina Lotus Mk1. At present I am trying reduce in scale a set of 1/64th set
of Creative ONE 64 Minilight wheels to fit. Since the rarity of the AIRFIX 1/32nd model this is MUST for my Jim Clark Collection.
