Nice alternative
1 of 1 found this helpful Follow instructions and this will work for you provided you have good coordination, balance and strength.
I'm 6'4" and 240lbs and getting up there in years and i can use this although it could be a little taller to suit me.

Good hard to find part
My original control worked but the lights were out. This replacement part although used works like new. Very happy about that. I thought price would be lower but supply and demand rule the day. GM does not make this anymore
