Solid family washing machine
This is a good machine that suits our family of four well. Laundry items are thoroughly washed and it is great to be able to adjust the spin speed. As with all front-loaders the wash cycles are long (Cotton Quick can take over two hours depending on the size of the load!) but I find that the 'Quick 3'cycle is adequate for a simple clothes wash.

Essential for EPP
Essential EPP sewing needles as recommended by Tales of Cloth. Will be sticking with this brand from now on for all my hand-sewing.
