Good quality, brand new shoes in a lovely colour.
Good shoes for walking or exercise. Nice but not lurid colour. Only caution is to check size because they are narrower than other NB shoes I have.

A moving story told in simplicity from the heart
This is a two first-person stories entwined. It is extremely moving if not the smoothest of narratives. One is the story of a boy from a poor fisherman's family in Lampedusa and how with the barest of means, his family sent him to secondary school which had to be off the island. He managed to become a doctor and in time moved back to Lampedusa. The second story is his work in Lampedusa loooking after thousands of migrants rescued at sea or landed on the island in terrible conditions having been sent off in tiny boats by people smugglers from North Africa. His humanity and care shines through. Thank you, Dottore.
