The right tool for the job.
This is the right tool for compressing Mac strut springs. Don't waste your time with dual coil spring compressors. If I knew this I could have saved some money.
Pros:
Heavy duty
Three fork sizes but you'll probably end up using the largest one.
Nice case to keep it stored.
Pre-lubricated.
Con's
Heavy - Use a bench vise if you have one.
Needs assembly before use.
The forks don't have a protective coating. I covered the contact are of my springs with some wide electrical tape to protect them. Duct tape should work as well.

A solid router with the ability to run custom firmware
The Good:
Solid build quality
Dual CPU
Lots of RAM (for a router)
Will run OpenWRT/LEDE
Solid stable wifi with 2.4 GHZ and 5 GHz bands.
The Bad
It's pricey but you get what you pay for.
Stock firmware is sucky - Not entirely terrible but most people buying this router are buying it to run custom firmware.
Range on 5Ghz is not great but probably in line with expectations.
You will lose the USB3 support under openWRT/LEDE
No Tomato support
The Ugly
Stock firmware makes you jump through hoops when you first initialize the router (like making you connect it to the internet to sign up to Linksys and create an account)

Needs Googling to find the correct Windows driver
Pro's: works out of the box on the steamlink
Con's: Needs some driver hacking or Googling for the correct driver to work in Windows.
