60GB PS3: Great for the Oldies But Goodies!!!!!!!!!!
When the PS3 came out in 2006 I had the biggest want of a console since the PS2 in 2000. When I finally got the console in august of 2008 I could finally breath a sigh of relief and get into GTA4 and MGS4. The best thing about the 60GB PS3 is the fact that I can switch from lets say GTA4 all the way to GTA (the original) without worry of compatibility issues. Also the fact that all PS2 games will flawlessly work is a HUGE plus for the gamer with a huge Play Station library. I have had a huge kick with the PS3 and definately suggest a larger hard drive for the media oriented person, the PS3 does have the ability to stream media from a media server but movies look nicer not so choppy from the 54Mb connection of the WiFi. Overall the 60GB PS3 has many more features than other "newer" PS3 systems such as the 80GB units with the Backwards compatibility emulator, which sad to say has only a 60% chance your game will play correctly. So for the Gamer with a library of oldies but goodies like PSone and PS2 games the best or should I say only option is for a 60gb PS3. Untill Sony releases a better unit that is, which is highly unlikely.
