Perfect match

Unlike many metal 'after market' barrels, this one EXACTLY matches the moulded plastic one provided with the kit. . . Therefore, no fitting problems.

'Fit' issues.

This actually (with some tweaking) makes up into quite a nice model. However, there were a few 'fit' issues requiring some filler and elastic bands etc. Also, be aware that there are NO PART NUMBERS ON THE SPRUES. They appear on the instruction sheet but for some obscure reason this manufacturer (Revell/Italeri) chooses to miss them from the sprues meaning that each part has to be searched for. I'll therefore avoid this manufacturer in future. Imagine a LARGE kit with no part numbers on the sprue - and I'm and experienced modeller.

Good but...

This manufactures ALWAYS produces accurate and well made products. However, the muzzle brake on this (and their other gun-barrels) is made up of about 5 small rings/pieces and there's no instructions to indicate what goes where!!! Just a small criticism but if your not an ex-tank-gun-expert-engineer-etc …. !?
