The only choice though not ideal
Tried it out in UK on 115V 50Hz with a Sylvania A19 5000K dimmable (800lm, 120V). The combination is unlucky (see my attached graph): most important of all, the bulb doesn't dim super much (while just enough for my work lamp). But delightfully, no heat or buzzing noise, but a really handy shape. I believe this is the only choice so far cuz there are no similar substitutes available in the rest of the world. IKEA used to manufacture similar items that are now discontinued. Therefore, it's still more than worth the choice that I wouldn't feel bothered to buy myself a 220V to 110V transformer to get these working, after bringing these to my homeland.
