Raspberry Pi PABX
1 of 1 found this helpful We downloaded the Linux/Asterisk/FreePBX image into the Raspberry Pi. Even with good Linux and programming skills there was quite a steep learning curve to get the system of used Cisco phones working, but now that they are, the Pi is working flawlessly as a SIP server.

Antenna improves reception
1 of 1 found this helpful The antenna improved the reception of my modem (as reported by the router) from about 30% to about 60% which is worthwhile considering the low cost of the antenna. I was expecting more from a 35dBi gain but the router doesn't say exactly what 60% means. The description says omni-directional but to have such gain it needs to be somewhat directional. The documentation, such as it is, gives no indication of how it is to be aimed.
