Powerful on screen performances by four professional actors of the past

Whilst the film is a downer, it is extremely powerful. Richard Burton and George Segal were excellent. Not everyone's cup of tea and certainly is not suitable for persons under 18; certainly a film for sophisticated adults, being a long and intense drama. perfectly filmed in black and white, the picture quality was up to a high standard. whilst i could not give it a general recommendation, if you are up to the play as to what you are going to see and expect in in spades, then you will find it is a film never to forget.

excellent quality bluray

i love this film and have seen it several times since it first came to cinemas. the DVD transfer was not good and i have always wanted to see it again on bluray. my wish was finally granted and i loved it again after only just seeing it recently on DVD. the quality and sound were excellent. thank you very much for providing it for me. it will be a film i will revisit, one of my favourite musicals.

Still holds up.

Still stands up. Could be a bit frightening for some 'littlies'. Good Transfer on blu ray. Extremely popular sing at the time. Thank you.
