Kyocera Ceramic 5.5" Santoku Knife

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen so I need and enjoy finding equipment that increases food preparation ease and efficiency. This knife surprises me anew me every time that I use it. So sharp and so fast. The black blade option is also a great change from my set of shiny metal forged steel knives. Vegetables and fruit have never been more fun or easy to cut. The handle/blade geometry is perfect, allowing plenty of finger space between the handle and the cutting surface. And the 5.5" blade blends the dexterity of a short blade and the greater cutting length of a longer blade. I had been wanting to try ceramic for a while and have discovered that this knife is a good place to start!

Superior Celluloid Ball

These DHS balls are some of the best celluloid balls still available; consistently round, bright white when new (I ordered the white), and high durability. Using them in my robot since it does not accept the newer larger ball.
