Fantastic and Educating
1 of 1 found this helpful After seeing the Movie "The Rite", I was intrigued by the story. I saw "The Exorcist" years ago and have maintained this interest in exorcism.
I listened to an interview on "Busted Halo" with Father Gary Thomas and enjoyed it so much. He said the book was like the movie and a "good read". He was so right.
This book is educating me as well. There are references made in the book to the Bible and I stop and look up the reference.
It is difficult reading Italian names and places, however you overlook that difficulty. All and all, a great book and well written.

Eat Pray Love
0 of 2 found this helpful I bought this book because I like Julia Roberts and I had a new Blu-Ray player and wanted to try it out. I waited at least two weeks before I found the time to sit, watch and enjoy. I liked the scenery but that was it. I disliked the storyline and was surprised that Julia Roberts even considered her part.
I did not like the book because I felt the book was lacking so many things, like jumping around instead of staying with one situation it moved on to another. After finding her true love, the booked ended and That was when I would like to have seen more. I do think their life together would have been interesting. A sequel would be good.
