Know what you're buying! The ports are NOT 3.1AMP
5 of 5 found this helpful This adapter does supply a maximum of 3.1AMP, but one port is 1AMP and the other port is 2.1AMP. The way they've described this adapter makes you think the ports supply up to 3.1AMP but they don't.

does what it's supposed to!
One negative I want to make sure people know is that using this adapter, you won't get an actual full 16x9 output. Due to iPhone using overscan, some applications will have black borders on all sides. I didn't dock this adapter though, since it's nothing to do with the adapter. That's simply a stupid design flaw by Apple. Overscan was used for CRT monitors. I have no idea why they would output their HDMI signal with overscan. With that said, this is a cheap and efficient way (and works perfect in most apps) to mirror your screen to the TV or monitor.

It's a motor. it works.
1 of 1 found this helpful only thing to note is that while the original oem motor has the harness mounted on the motor, this one has the harness at the end of a 6-8 inch cable, so you're going to have to wrap it up and zip tie it or else it will dangle in the door and make noise. besides that, it seems just like everything else like it -- adequate. it does the job JUST FINE. will buy this same one again if i need one for the other door.
