Brilliant result!
I only wanted to dye a pair of shorts, so didn't need the machine dye. I heated the water in a very large saucepan with the dye and salt and also once the shorts were done, put in a pair of canvas shoes, but didn't immerse the soles. They all came out great. I washed the clothes on a cool wash without any sort of detergent to remove the salt from them and they're really cool!!

Good value and cheery colours
Very pleased with the mitts. So much easier than the joined ones, You can use your hands independently. Only problem set one on fire yesterday with the grill!!

An intimate account, actually written at the time of the Mutiny, fascinating.
This, for me, is an amazing little book. It was written during the Great Indian Mutiny, not as a history book, with the benefit of hindsight, but then and there as it was happening. A real comment made by an ordinary person on the happenings at the time. I just wish there was more of it.
