Great cup of coffee, but quality concerns
2 of 2 found this helpful I have never enjoyed a cup of coffee more from any other "brewed-at-home" coffee maker! I purchased this to replace my Keurig - absolutely no comparison!!! The coffee has a great flavor and is not at all weak - I put in one scoop of coffee for each cup I make. I leave the percolator plugged in all morning until I pour my last cup, and the coffee comes out PIPING hot with each serving.
It's extremely easy to use and clean - only 4+/- parts!
The reason for the 3 instead of 5 stars: I just received this Percolator, haven't even used it a 1/2 dozen times, and the screw that holds in the handle is already rusted beyond belief! NOTE: I did not submerge the exterior of the pot in water. Why would the manufacturer not use rust-proof screws in their coffee pots that will likely get wet during cleaning? I have concerns about the quality of this percolator, and what will happen with the rest of the parts after continued use.
