Not quite what i thought... just a plain filter

Hmmm. Well its a filter for sure but only a filter...no pump. No hoses nothing.. looks exactly the same as the 6 watt powered filter and is easy to confuse it like i did... for $6 more i could have purchased a complete powered filter kit with everything needed... not worth paying post to send it back...

Very strange heat venting, its wall mounted and blows the heat down onto the wall making the wall very hot, when sitting on the floor the floor is to hot to touch. Vents need to face up.

Mix is hard to controll

this mix is hard to control and in my opinion it should come in 2 bags. no matter how much u mix it the pellets sit on the top of the mix and the 2mm pellets sit on the bottom give or take a bit...... when feeding it is hard to get a proper mix and u get too much of one or the other but in general my fish love the mix.. I also use this mix in Auto feeders and the bigger pellets do tend to block the scoop but that's not the mix's fault...AAA+++
