Pretty sweet
I have a few of these trainers and this is one of the more robust, smooth and--to the great satisfaction of my surroundings--most silent.
While other practice balisongs rattle and clang, this thing is smooth as butter. It has a nice weight to it and is well balanced.
It's a sandwich construction which has actual screws, rather than being pressfit junk, which is good but you'll need to tighten the screws periodically to avoid it falling apart (they're all the torx "star" type which seems usual on these things, all the same size but for two on the tang that allow you to hold them in place with one bit while tightening with the other side).
The latch isn't awesome and the sheath is flimsy, but can't say I care much about either. If there's one negative it's that the finish on the handles is a little rough--they bite into your hands a bit and it can be irritating after a while... I'm going to try and polish the insides of the handle sandwich with a dremel.
All in all, I'm quite satisfied.

Really useful for prototyping
These things are great, whether for keeping some SMT chip modular or just to have an easy way to prototype them on a breadboard. I've used them for a few chips, including to stack 2 14-pin ATTiny841s on a single board.

Neewer Mini Tripod is tiny but packs lots of awesome
This is my second Neewer tripod--the other is something like 4 or 5 feet and I like it a lot. Needed something smaller for desktop use (screencasts and such) and was hoping this one would be as good as the big brother.
It did not disappoint: sturdy, kinda cool looking, handles my fat old camera without issue, has a quick release shoe/plate on the head, that is identical to that in the bigger tripod, which is mighty handy, a counter-weight hook if you're getting serious in the wind dept or want an instant poor-man's steadycam, a level bubble thing and all the controls to set it up just right.
So, yeah, must say I like these tripods: they're well built, well thought out and at a very reasonable price.
