Totally engrossing.
This is a great book for anyone interested in history.
I have ancestors who were border reivers and for anyone who is tracing family history it it a brilliant asset.
I have found the facts in the book astounding and now have the understanding that the 'romance' associated with the border reivers isn't at all rosy, they were bad bad people and my ancestors the Armstrongs were among the worst!
