Everbilt 1 in. I.D. x 25 ft. PVC SPA Flex Hose

NOT AS DESCRIBED

The add for this product contains a FALSE statement. It does NOT fit standard PVC fittings. Do not purchase with the intentions using it in standard PVC glued slip fittings! It is a good product for use with hose barbs and clamps. With this understanding I would recommend it when used with hose barbs, otherwise it is not recommended.

NOT SCHOTTSKY

This NOT a schottsky diode! It is a normal PN junction diode. The use of the word "schottsky" in the description is misleading and implies a greater value and less power loss. At 6 amps and .9 volts across the junction this diode will radiate 5.4 watts. A typical schottsky diode (6 amp @ .4V) would radiate 2.4 watts. A fair price for the 6 A 10 diode would be about 15 cents each.
