Disappointing.
This album is a sophmore slump. Not even close in the songwriting, or production value of their first record in my opinion.
No real signs of shoegazing music to be heard. Disappointing.
To bad, because the 1st record had alot of good moments.

Southpacific- Constance
If you like your shoegazing a little different, well this U.S/ Canadian band may just hit the spot. Combining space rock and drone with Slowdive with SIANsheric like guitars. Dripping with hints of melancholy, mostly nonlyrical, if one even notices. Like the cliché beautiful sadness seems to fit. However it does need repeated listens in every state of mind. Newcomers may find it a bit abrasive. However shoegazers should revel in its journey. The rhythm section feels like it's programmed. The guitars though, yeah those guitars will sound quite familiar. Oh yeah, almost forgot about you post-rockers out there. You will also be pleasantly surprised with the never ending reverb and delay all over the place.

If you like spiritual music, it may be for you. If not, nope.
Well, I had this CD in the early 90's and loved it. My musical tastes, ever expanding, found the first half of it utterly boring. The second half however still hitting the spot. Good musicianship, production throughout.
