easy carb fix

My old TG33 strimmer had to be coaxed to start with a shot of carb cleaner, but would cut out after a few minutes. Ordered the Diaphragm Gasket kit, speedy delivery, dismantled the carb, gave it a good dose of carb cleaner and fitted the new gaskets, hey presto, started first time, job done. I've had several other machines ( mower, hedge cutter etc) needing the same treatment in the past, and each time I have got them going again with this type of kit, so worth trying before paying big repair bills or buying a new machine.

Electric window motor for Polo

The passenger side electric window would not work from the passenger's switch. I tried a new switch but it turned out that was not the problem, on closer inspection I noticed that the motor terminal connections had a printed circuit board that was corroded. I sent for the complete replacement motor/circuit board, fitted it, bingo job done, must have saved a ton of dosh if I had taken it to the main dealer.!!!! Pleased with good part, good price good service.
