Brother QL-700 - good but needs extra setup steps (Win10)
2 of 2 found this helpful The printer is well made and when you get the software setup (Windows 10) it works well. The issue is it needs to have the firmware updated before it will work correctly.
These direction will help resolve this problem
1) In order to install the following Brother program, ensure that the Status lamp is lit Green and the Editor Lite lamp is off
2) Find a small update program by Brother called (PtUpdater) - this collects all of the updates necessary including the critical update of the firmware for the unit. This small program also offers;
a. A collection of templates
b. P-touch Editor 5.1 program

Works as designed
This does what is supose to. Breaks before your screen does to protect it and stops the screen getting scratched.
