Mysterious Island (DVD, 2002)
Great science-fiction adventure movie I remember from a long time ago. I thoroughly enjoyed the Jules Verne story line coupled with the timeless Ray Harryhausen special effects. A great Saturday afternoon-type flick for the whole family to enjoy!

Rorke's Drift 1879 by Ian Knight (1996, Paperback)
See the classic movie "Zulu" with Michael Caine and Stanley Baker, but then also read this very complete account about the battle written by the definitive authority on the subject. I highly recommend it to all students of military history!

Robert E. Lee, the Man and the Soldier (1989) OSHB
Great book on a great man! I am related to this gentleman, and am always looking for new sources of information on him. This book has some incredible pictures and offers remarkable insight into this larger than life American. It is a very highly valued part of my home library.
