Waterproof indeed but really hard to open
The case arrived very well packed in a little polystyrene package. The camera fits snugly into the case with the buttons in the correct locations. Opening the case however is really difficult and cannot be done without something like a screwdriver or spoon - fingers just can't exert the required force.
