Fit great, stopped rattle.
Product looks to be oem quality, had markings on the plastic to indicate it might be an oem VW part. Installation was easy. Minor gap along the front edge to the dash, to wasn't a 100% perfect fit, but only I would notice this. Definitely stopped the dreaded rattle from the ambient vent in the dash, and that was the original intent. No impacts to climate control. Installed on 2008 MKV GTI with climatronic.
