Good for light duty cleaning, wouldn't pay much more though.
I bought this partially because I wanted something to clean around our basement where the cat's litter boxes are and partially because I thought in the year 2011 my house needed to have a robot. You should think of the QQ2 or any roomba type cleaner as a really good dust buster but not really comparable to the cleaning power of a full sized vacuum. It does fine on hard floors and picks up cat hair pretty well from carpet but it's not a real power house. This is my first robot vacuum so maybe roombas are much better, but I kind of doubt it. If you want a robot that does something marginally useful you should get one. No point in paying roomba prices for that.

Works as advertised
Got this to power an LED aquarium light after the 1st one I tried ended up not delivering the specified current. This seems to work well and can do a solid 2 amps. Haven't pushed it harder than that.

Great all around telescope.
9 of 9 found this helpful I recently realized I wasn't using my Celestron C8 Ultima telescope b/c it was just too heavy and complicated to get set up. I was apprehensive that what I settled on for a replacent, the Nexstar 8 SE, would seem flimsy or cheap in comparison but I was pleasantly surprised with its solid feel and good build quality. I received it today and within an hour I had it put together and was finishing the goto alignment procedure (got lucky and had clear skies). Goto worked flawlessly over a period of 1.5 hrs of observing. The mount/tripod is just fine for visual observing, vibrations dampen down within just 2-3 seconds with the legs 1/2 extended. The only problem I had was the power adapter came unplugged from the drive base a couple times, this requires that alignment be repeated. I think I can spread out the center pin on the base side of the connector and have it stay connected more reliably so it's not really a big deal. Bottom line - if you want a good quality telescope with great optics that's easy to set up and use with minimal hassle the Nexstar 8 SE is a perfect choice. If you're interested in astrophotography a GEM style mount or CPC series might be the better option (but that means more money!).
