Works very well. Does more than you expect.
Attractive and a good size. Useable a a general hotplate for steaks and burgers as well as toasties. Cleans off easily with a paper towel and stores quickly, vertically. Just beware of the very hot edges and take reasonable caution. The swing top adjusts for variable food item thicknesses. Fair price too. Replaces several stovetop operations. I've used a heavy though similar commercial one before and this is as good - perfect for domestic and light commercial use. The only thing that puzzles me is why these kind of units never have an on/off switch! You have to unplug it. Maybe that's a safety feature?!
