Saving Sarah Cain

Not exactly like the book

This movie was "good". But from someone who has read the book it is based on, I was a little disappointed. The book, The Redemption of Sarah Cain by Beverly Lewis, was way better than the movie. In the movie, they moved the 5 children to "the world" Sarah Cain was from. They did not fit in of course because it was not "their way". One of the girl children even started dressing as a worldly teen and wearing makeup. One of the boys joins a wrestling team to compete which is also not the Amish way. Neither of those are in the book at all. In the book, the children were not moved, but their aunt Sarah comes to their world. Which was way better. So I was disappointed that the movie was not closer to the book. I loved the book. The book I read had inserts of this movie. So that is why I ordered the movie. Because I loved the book so much, but the movie did not follow the book exactly like it should have. So it was just good and I liked the movie somewhat, where I loved the book. It's a good movie, but I suggest the book instead. It's called The Redemption of Sarah Cain by Beverly Lewis. Watch the movie first. Because if you don't, it will ruin the movie for you. Because you will constantly be saying "that wasn't in the book". Then read the book. You will enjoy the book even more.
