Great performance, compact, no suction loss, but very noisy.
This is a great vacuum cleaner. Our current vacuum, a Nilfisk X200 Extreme, has performed pretty well but suffers the same problem as all bag cleaners - suction drops off quickly after the first or second use with a new bag.
After vacuuming our short pile carpet with the Nilfisk the Dyson picked up a whole lot of extra dirt and dust. It's true that there is no loss of suction as the canister fills. The motorhead gives an enormous extra boost to dirt removal on carpets (not useful on hard floors though; you can turn it off easily with your foot).
It's easy to manoeuver, easy to empty the canister, compact to store, and onboard storage for all tools except the extra hard floor head. The filter is washable so no ongoing costs for filter replacement.
My only complaint is that it is really loud. I mean REALLY LOUD - especially with the motorhead running. I have to wear earplugs when using it. One of the reasons I bought the Nilfisk was because it was nice and quiet, but I think the tradeoff for the better performance of the Dyson is worth it.
Verdict: highly recommended.

Great shaver
I normally get terrible razor rash from whatever I use to shave - electric or blade. I'm happy to say though that the 9240 gives me little to no shaving rash. It's also quick and comfortable to use.
I'd definitely buy it again when this one wears out.

Fast and reliable DVD drive for PCs, doesn't work with Android TV.
1 of 1 found this helpful This drive has proven to be fast and reliable even when reading slightly imperfect DVDs. I don't have any 4K discs to test it with as yet. It is amazingly slim and light, so if you want something easily portable this fits the bill. I like that it has a USB-C port for connection rather than a hard-wired cable, so you can use whatever length of cable you need; the supplied cable is a little short (44cm). No additional power connection is required which keeps things tidy and simple. My main disappointment is that it does not work with my Android TV - when I plug it in to the USB port it's just ignored. While the Verbatim product information made no claims about this I assumed that it would just work, but unfortunately that's not the case. Still, a great external drive for a PC.
