Hornby R6888TTS Ventillated Van With TTS Sound Fitted Heavily Weathered

Something different

A unique addition to a DCC layout - the sounds are varied and of fairly good quality although I have had to reduce the volume on some to avoid distortion. The couplings are of the old Hornby style and are rather obtrusive and will need to be removed, particularly if the van is to be 'hard-wired' in a permanent position, or be replaced with some of a more subtle variety. The wheels needed to be cleaned as the decoder wasn't being recognised on the programme track but once done everything worked as it should do. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase.
