One of my favourite TV shows
I discovered Commisario Montalbano quite by accident when flipping through channels looking for some background noise while doing something late at night: I found it mesmerising.
The plots are complex, the locations are wonderful, and the titular character's deductive capabilities are ingenious. Montalbano is a cross between Frost and Morse, only with a gourmet's appreciation of fine food rather than Morse's obsession with beer.
Luca Zingaretti is masterful as Salvo Montalbano. Peppino Mazzotta, Cesare Bocci and Angelo Russo are brilliant as the supporting characters. I only wish they could have done away with Livia.
I love this show, and only wish there were more episodes. I am looking forward to exploring Young Montalbano.

Exactly what is promised
This cake topper is exactly how it is pictured, and the wording is customisable. We were given more than one topper (I presume in case of any mishaps with the first attempt), but it worked first time around. Our son was thrilled.
