Saves washing the cover
Protects the feeding pillow so the cover doesn't get soiled or wet. Perfect size for the My Brest Frend twin feeding pillow. Ties to keep it in place on the pillow would be a useful improvement

No grinding at night
It took about 4 goes into very hot water to get a snug fit. Works well. As good as the very expensive dentist one I used years ago.
