Fun and realistic! Almost TOO realistic!
2 of 4 found this helpful My 9-year-old son begged me for this game and I finally bought it for him. He LOVES it! For a variety of reasons, I can't let him have a pet, but this game fulfills part of that desire to play with dogs, nurture them, and just enjoy them. It is a little freaky (to me) how realistic the game is! Because of the voice-recognition feature, he can call the dogs over to him and give them commands and train them to do tricks and stuff. And because of the touch-screen, he can pet them and stroke them . . . and they appear to respond like real dogs. The only difficult thing is that the game can be TOO realistic - one time, my son ended up "owning" four dogs, but then found out that he could only "see" three dogs at a time (on the screen), so he decided to give one up for adoption. This was a heartbreaking decision - he actually cried as if he were giving away a REAL pet. But he gets so much pleasure from this game, I am really glad I bought it for him.

If you like to sing to your baby . . .
This album was given to me on cassette 13 years ago when my daughter was a newborn. As I was learning how to be a mom and figuring out my baby's "routine" -- eat, play, sleep -- this music became part of our daily ritual before every naptime. I learned the words to all the lullabies so I could sing the songs to her, too. This album just became part of her babyhood . . . and childhood. And now that she is a teenager and making her own decisions about what music to listen to, she asked me to buy her this album on CD to replace the cassette that wore out long ago. I love the fact that she still finds this music soothing even as a teenager - but this album was part of her life literally from Day One, so I guess it's not too surprising. She can't remember a time when she wasn't listening to these songs, either on tape or sung to her by her mother. Joanie's voice is simple but beautiful, just right for children and just right for parents who want to learn to sing a few new lullabies.

This is a good iron supplement
1 of 1 found this helpful This iron supplement does not have the unpleasant taste or unpleasant gastric side effects that many other iron supplements have. And it is effective. My iron levels were far too low. I have been taking Fergon for about 6 months, and my levels are normal now, and I have more energy.
