SteelSeries Sensei Wireless Mouse and QCK+ Performance Mousepad *New and Sealed*
10 January 2016
Full-featured Wireless Mouse for Enthusiasts
I currently own this mouse and absolutely love it. It fits both grip styles and everywhere in between. It is comfortable to use and has a good weight to it. While not something you touch and feel on a regular basis, the charging/wireless station base is hefty and has a premium feel to it. The LED ring is a nice touch to either show the battery level status (green, yellow/orange, red) or any breathing/static color you like. I have experienced zero hardware acceleration from the laser sensor. The CPI button on the top is a nice feature either for switching between super-sensitive gaming and regular desktop needs or for switching between users with different sensitivity preferences. The SteelSeries Engine software is easy to use and allows for exceptional control of various settings such as the two CPI selections, lift height, angle snapping, RGB colors on the wheel, logo, and base, and full control over what each of the 8 buttons does, including macros. The MSRP of $159 is definitely a bit off. I'm not saying you wouldn't be happy with it at that price. If you are willing to pay $160 for a mouse in the first place, you'll be happy. That said, as the average online price hovers much closer to $100, it is an exceptional device for the money. If you are looking for a basic wireless mouse, this is not for you. If you are looking for a wireless mouse with great features, easy settings, and a touch of flare with the minimal yet classy LEDs, this is it.
