    xbox live arcade vol 1
the game arrived shrink-wrapped and had a security seal on it. the game featured games that delight both young and old. the games included were very interesting and very intuitive. the degree of difficulty was very much in tune with the players' aptitude and reflexes. fun and entertaining for the whole family. this one is highly recommended for those who are still in the dark on how to start enjoying their xbox 360 experience.

    Math In A Plastic Box
Like any other parents whose concern is towards their wards' performance in school, the Personal Trainer: Math is one of Nintendo's way of addressing one formidable stumbling block (literally) that beface every mom, dad, and offspring. The Personal Trainer: Math is a godsend to all children (and parents, as well). This game features 20 levels of mathematics fun. The four basic arithmetic operands are carefully established and strengthened in the learners' minds through progressive exercises that focus on both speed and numerical recognition and literacy. The Personal Trainer: Math is one kind of an interactive game that could very well be used by High School students also. Featuring a new method of computing everyday math MENTALLY, the students are given every opportunity to reward and challenge themselves through the game's DAILY EXERCISES. These exercises are not only graded by the professor in charge (Prof. Kageyama) but are also recorded via the program's calendar. The calendar is automatically updated according to the exact day that one is to start taking the daily examinations. The highlight of the program is the Kageyama Method which was formulated by no other than the game's developer and professor in charge, Professor Kageyama of Tokyo University. This method is both fun and intuitive way of teaching math to children that focuses on proper analysis and logical approach in obtaining the answer. The Kageyama Method, as well as the other exercises in this game, is timed. However, the real gem in this game is in the manner that it presents challenges as a stepping stone and not as a stumbling block to math learners. While players are forced to work their way through the exercises in the fastest time possible, the game also sees to it that regardless of the time it takes for them to finish, the learners are properly awarded a medal for accomplishing the task on hand. Unlike other math games that focus more on getting a high score, this game gives more attention on how the learners arrive at the answer in the most comfortable manner. The learners eventually will progress by answering faster and landing on any top three slots. No pressure is ever present in this game as it teaches also the values of MATHEMATICAL CONFIDENCE, NUMERICAL EFFICIENCY AND LITERACY AND ANALYTICAL ABILITY without exerting so much effort in doing so. THIS IS THE ONLY GAME IN THE MARKET THAT ACCOMPLISHES THIS FEAT AS FAR AS GAMING AND LEARNING ARE CONCERNED. The character in the game is only one (Professor Kageyama) and the presentation is very much straightforward and plain. This is not a bad thing considering that this game has successfully mimicked what a classroom environment is: PLAIN, DIRECT TO THE POINT AND ASTUTE. One element, however, is so much present in this game that MOST classrooms MAY NOT BE ABLE TO IMPLEMENT FULLY and this the element of FUN AND INDEPENDENCE. The learner, most especially kids in the pre-school and elementary, will be forced to "FIND THEIR WAY" in solving the problems. They are IMMEDIATELY taught to figure things out IN THEIR OWN MANNER AND PROPER TIMING. And together with the learners' parents guiding them through this task, the game ultimately becomes a MATH SCHOOL IN A PLASTIC CASE that is so portable and convenient to carry around. This game is a MUST HAVE for kids (and parents) who are very much seeking refuge in the fact that MATH, after all, is NOT and NEVER will be a SUBJECT TO BE AFRAID OF.

    xbox 360 pro refurbished
the item i received from this seller was better than perfect. the refurbished xbox carried the new jasper mainboard. contrary to many critics regarding noise and excessive heat generated by the machine, my unit produces minimal noise and less heat. the cosmetic features were as good as new and no scratches whatsoever were found. the unit came complete with manuals, limited warranty sheet, and three fantastic games. the hard drive that it came with contained sample videos and 16 demo games. the graphics were completely astounding. the framerate was consistent all throughout (i.e., playing Dark Sector was visually satisfying)while watching DVD movies proved to be more than a treat. the picture was in high-definition and colors were crispier and sharper as compared to conventional DVD players. the xbox 360 player comes also with a BIG plus: it can play region 9 or 0 DVD discs. overall, the refrubished unit was a treat. it came with two wireless controllers, one headset, three games and the necessary cords. it also came with a high-definition cable. the controller was such a comfort to one's hands. playing fight night 4 was a breeze with this wireless controller. it felt perfect and the weight was more than enough to enable one to continue playing without having any hand fatigue. the buttons were very easy to navigate. playing Dark Sector and Batman Lego was such a delight that one will be focused on how to play the game and not on how to handle the button presses on the controller. the addition of the x-button on the controller provides much faster access to the machines ingteractive menus. and synching the controller with the main unit was as easy as counting 1-2-3. the refurbished unit is NOT a used unit. the refurbished unit came in its retail box carrying a black strip that contained the "REFURBISHED" note in three languages. the unit also had a sticker that contains the word, "REFURBISHED". the unit was perfect. 'nuff said.
