Better than expected!
This TelePrompTer is better than I expected at this price. I was planning to modify it when I purchased it but it turned out, it was nicer than in picture. The beam splitter is good. The frame is sturdy and fold/unfold with plastic lock to position in 45-degree angle. The monitor holder fits an iPad, a 12-inch LED or my 10-inch monitor. It is also designed well. The black cloth is enough to cover the camera lense and is a good quality cloth. It holds my Sony EX1R but it's probably better for DSLR or lighter camera. Height is adjustable. It's a good value for my money.

Good value in price vs. performance.
It's a fair performance for less. It will get you started having semi-professional and professional work in home studio for voice over, radio work and other audio application. It may require some equalization to increase the low frequency performance.

The cheapest but so far it works well!
The case is plastic. For rough environment it may crack. Power is through the USB port. Easy to find a replacement power supply however I'm not a fan of using USB port for power. The mini connector might not last long for many insertions. You could accidentally unplug it during operation. If you are careful and takes care of your equipment well, this is good enough.
I haven't tried it on many devices. I have tried it with my Sony EX1R at 1080p29.97 and it works well.
Bottom line. If you need an HD-SDI to HDMI at economical price but good performance in a studio environment, this is the one.
