Nostalgic Photos of Home Items - Growing Up in the 50's
1 of 1 found this helpful I love the beautiful, detailed photos, shiny pages, clear colors. I also like the fact that the average prices are included, and all the advice that is given about buying and collecting. I bought the book because it is the essence of the things I love. It is ALL good. You have to wade through big flea market books to find what I collect, but not with this book. It feels good to know that there are people out there who love the same things that I do. Maybe some people regard my stuff as junk, but now I know for sure that my old things are good collectibles, to be treasured and appreciated.

A "Must Have" for Charlie Moore bluegrass fans and especially truckers.
Charlie Moore is a bluegrass/country singer and song writer who never got the limelight he deserved while he was living. I have seen him in person several times and he is really great. I decided to collect the CD's and LP's that I didn't already have. Of course "Truck Driver's Queen" is one of his most famous songs which is on this product. I don't think the CD has as many songs on it as the LP, but it is convenient to listen to in the car. Charlie died at an early age on Christmas Eve, 1979 and I will never forget him. I treasure his music and his autograph. Check out some of his other releases and you will hear a greater variety of his songs. If you are a truck driver, you probably already have these songs!
