NEW Gurgun Mibinyah: Yugambeh, Ngarahngwal, Ngahnduwal By Margaret Sharpe

Valuable thou not gospel
M Sharpe work is valuable although not gospel and as an academic she accepts that. It is contribution to begin to put together pieces of destruction that began in 1820 (Stradbroke 1825) and the costs of Tweed and Gold Coast and Brisbane and the inland and fassifren areas, until about 1913 (John Allan Bullum Bulljm map) so almost 100 years, or three generations of destruction, and then began a push to gather collate and collect. In 2021 we are in regathering and repairing histories, 4 generations almost five of repairing and we are almost there. Aboroginal clans themselves of the region are using their cultural education with academic education to re set this work, and the agreed clans and linguist areas will soon be agreed and regional and societal communities can began also regather. Luckily Aboroginal culture is stronger than 4 generations of interruption. Margaret Sharpe book is like the Mikado of opera a gateway book to the language and this reprint will be generously corrected as clans and families speak for themselves .
