Large coffee-table book whose loud presentation overwhelms the content.

A lot of computers are dealt with but in a rather journalistic fashion. There are few technical details, the emphasis being mainly on the success or lack of it of the machines. Even so, the book would be useful if it weren't for the fashion magazine layout: loud coloured pages, often hard to read the print on, photos of uncaptioned random details from every angle for the sake of appearance. Really just a bulky coffee-table book that's too unwieldy and uninformative. It would make a decent paperback minus the photos and coloured pages.
