good value did not like sound quality

This receiver has a usb port bluetooth connection and RCA connections and they claim 3000 watts all for 144.00. But my reciever make a low volume static noise you can hear untill you play music with volume up. I also thought my 20 year old 100 watt technics reciever had better sound fidelity. For the money I am some what satisfied.
