Spray Has a Very Strong Odor
2 of 3 found this helpful Because the product was said to be safe around humans and pets, I wrongly assumed that it would be odorless, so I sprayed it around the periphery where my cat eats and drinks because I saw ants. The smell was so strong (even for humans!), that my cat wouldn't eat or drink from that area for eight hours. The smell is strong and persistent for hours. It smells like regular bug spray, which is not pleasant at all. I had to scrub the spray out of my cat's area several times with hydrogen peroxide (which is odorless), as the spray doesn't readily evaporate. I could smell it myself, for hours, even after I had scrubbed the area. I can't comment on the effectiveness of the product against insects because I immediately discontinued using it.
