Accurate picture - works great.

These are great jacks. They are now ins...
These are great jacks. They are now installed on my home built bass cabinet and work just fine. It takes a little larger drilled hole than a standard 1/4 inch jack. You might want to make sure you have the appropriate drill bit per the manufacturer specs.

Works better than the on board headphone jack in my laptop.
You have to be careful if you are using the laptop while seated since the adapter sticks out to one side. It is fine on a desktop. Better in every way than the headphone port I used it to replace.
