Beatles on a Roll
Young, energetic, blazing with talent, and at this point historically interesting: The Beatles' Second Album. We've all heard the songs a million times; they're still great. Treat yourself and all your friends!

Excellent Vehicle Vacuum
1 of 1 found this helpful This device is very powerful, vacuuming everything up except for what I could get up with my hands. It has a light--very handy--and a long cord to the accessory plug. While it has a nice double-filter to its waste holder, I'm concerned it will eventually fail since there's no bag. But for now I'm pleased.

A Continuation of Sherlock Holmes' Adventures
This collection, the first of four of this series, is a continuation of the BBC's production of the entire Sherlock Holmes canon dramatized for radio. That series is wonderful; this one is not as valuable but is still fun and recommended for aficionados. The four stories in this volume one were written by Bert Coules, a senior dramatist at the BBC; he wrote many of the episodes in the original series. He has a deft hand with his dialogue and pacing; his frequent scene shifts keep the listener alert. The actor in the title role is Clive Merrison, and he is splendid. His pacing, with these well-crafted scripts, seems flawless. And in the 100 plus years of cinema and the 80 plus years of radio drama, he is the one and only actor to act in every single Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes story. And--besides that--he did these twelve new stories as well. In 2020 he is 75 years old, but he has said he would come out of retirement to act in any new Bert Coules Sherlock dramatizations. How about it, Mr Coules?
