Perfect deal for basic school/work.
Bought this to replace a gaming laptop that wasn't needed anymore and it's way more computer than I really need but for the price I just couldn't say no. I haven't figured out how to get the touch id sensor to work, but I don't really need to since it's a pin to unlock. Some of the highlights for this machine comes down to screen, storage, and keyboard: the IPS screen is a great balance for low light and high light area, making seeing the display easier. Having 1TB storage is just a great ease of mind that I will never need more and having DDR5 ram means this laptop is future-proofed for the next 6-8 years realistically. Lastly, the keyboard has more key distance than most other laptops in this price range, making typing feel great, it's still one of the not quite mechanical but not quite membrane boards, which is fine since it's the only option for laptops, so I still like using a separate keyboard, but it's great for school purposes and the trackpad is also really nice since it's got an actual button under the pad for mouse clicks making it far superior to macs and other, more expensive laptops.
