Focused tone and faster attack

I really like the Tusq saddles and have them installed on 3 guitars now: strat, tele, les paul. It is hard to describe the impact upon tone as it is very subjective, but it seems to me that the instruments sound more focused, attack becomes faster and overall tone becomes more "bell-like". Some people write that for them the saddles don't work on too bright guitars. In my experience, they still improve the tone of "harsh" guitars by focusing the overtones: tonally, high and middle-highs are still there but with much less distortion in the upper frequency range.
