Lightweight, easy to use. It works only for camcorders with "Intelligent Interactive" Shoe (IA)
Sony OEM product. Tested: Lightweight, easy to use, and works very well in zero light conditions. Hot Shoe: It interacts and works after connected with the camcorder Nightshot feature. Be AWARE that this specific type of IR light ONLY works with older Sony camcorders (the ones that have Intelligent Accessory Shoe-IA: 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009). It won't work with newer models like DCR SR, some DCR HC models and obviously with HDR or FDR camcorder series (because these have Active Interactive - AI or Multi Interactive Mi shoes: 2010, 2011. . .2021).
