A MUST HAVE for any Eagles fan young or old
2 of 2 found this helpful Pity the Eagles have put out only 2 official concerts on DVD (their old stuff and not so old stuff for that matter, is fantastic). Anyway, of the two concerts you can buy in stores this is the one to have! As other reviewers have said, this is a reference for DTS sound and if you close your eyes you hear Felder and Walsh standing next to you as they rip through their guitar solos (just like the old days). "Life in the Fast Lane" is just fantastic.
Pros: This DVD has Don Felder playing (worth it just for his playing on Hotel California). Great work on "I Can't Tell You Why", "Tequila Sunrise" and "Take It Easy".
Cons: Not enough rock tracks - 'One of These Nights', which they played at the actual concerts was omitted. They should have included all tracks.

Doobies at their Best
Great DVD fearturing their best music - these guys are as good now as they were in the 70s. It's a better set list than the Wildlife concert (which is good too). Recommended.

One of the CLASSIC albums of all time
Love them or hate them - everyone agrees this Eagles album is one of the greatest albums of all time...! From Felder's beautifully haunting opening solo on the title track "Hotel California", to Walsh's ripping guitar riff on "Life in the Fast Lane", Miesner's soulful singing on "Try & Love Again" to the epic Henley "Last Resort" this is simply a classic.
Every Eagles fan will have at least one copy of this - if you are new to the Eagles and want just one album from the Eagles (other than a Greatest Hits) this is the one to have (then you'll get hooked and buy 'On the Border' and 'One of These Nights', etc, etc, ha, ha....) 5/5
