A zombie game with a plot
1 of 1 found this helpful Excellent story combined with fun game play and sharp graphics. Very impressed at how the cut scenes blend seamlessly with the in-game action. Would recommend to gamers who like to think or enjoy reading for that matter.

Thoroughly Disappointing
2 of 3 found this helpful After experiencing an amazing walkthrough with the Bloodborne strategy guide I was looking forward to this one..however this one is made by Prima, the "leading strategy guide publisher." This guide lacked content, felt rushed, was full of typos, was missing chapters, had no index, and offered no real insight for boss fight strategies. I feel lucky to have sold it back and at least got half of my investment back. Avoid this at all costs and refer to the wiki or you tube walkthroughs..

Doom at its finest
4 of 5 found this helpful This reboot for the Doom series got everything right, from the pace of the action to the graphics. All of the original monsters and demons from the first games are here in a fresh, reimagined way. The game play is fluid and intuitive and requires quick thinking throughout the campaign.
The glory kills are a nice addition and reward you with additional health when you perform them. The developers also included some easter eggs in the form of classic doom areas where you fight enemies in the old school looking maps.
While this game is not for everyone as its extremely violent and gory, fans of the original series as well as fans of first person shooters will definitely enjoy this game. I highly recommend the new Doom!
