Worked right out of the box!
Perfect replacement, identical to the one I have for my 5 year old Sceptre tv. No programming necessary - just inserted batteries and it worked. Just what I needed because I don’t plan to replace the tv any time soon - it’s perfect for my needs. Having a backup remote guarantees that I won’t need to replace it if the remote gets lost or broken

Does not fit
This is nice solid steel, but it doesn’t fit the gas ports on my 1950 Tula/Russian SKS
